You feel fine. No complaints, everything seems fine – but under the skin your body may be sending signals anyway. With thermography, you uncover such hidden risks early, even before they lead to injury.
At Perform2Achieve, we use infrared technology to identify subtle differences in temperature. These may indicate overuse, inflammation or disturbance in your movement patterns.
Combine this analysis with strength tests, body composition (DEXA scan) or a core analysis via ICAROS for a complete picture of your physical status.
How does thermography work?
We map your skin temperature in detail with an advanced infrared camera. The scan is completely non-contact, fast and safe.
Our software compares temperature differences between mirrored body parts, such as knees, shoulders or hamstrings. In a healthy body, that difference is usually less than 0.3°C. Larger deviations indicate possible strain or stress – often even before you experience symptoms.
The analysis is done with ThermoHuman: smart software that makes the results visible on a digital avatar. This allows you to see at a glance where your body needs extra attention.
What do temperature differences say about your body?
While thermography does not provide a medical diagnosis, it is a powerful tool for picking up early signals of underlying stress in the body.
This allows us to quickly and objectively identify where tension, overload or asymmetry is occurring, often even before symptoms develop. Such as incipient overload of a muscle group, subtle inflammatory processes, incorrect movement patterns that cause asymmetry, or hidden strain during a rehabilitation process.
This is precisely why we use thermography as an additional tool in rehabilitation or in combination with other tests, so that we can closely monitor the evolution of your recovery and adjust where necessary.
For whom is this test appropriate?
The method can be used for a broad target group that wants to gain insight into physical load and performance. It is a valuable tool for athletes who want to stay injury-free and train responsibly. Sports teams can screen their players in a targeted way to reduce risks of injury and optimize performance.
In addition, the analysis provides support for rehabilitating athletes who want to monitor their recovery process and objectively measure where they stand. Within companies, this method can also be used to monitor physical strain in the workplace and take preventive action where necessary.
When you couple this analysis with a 3D motion analysis or a core analysis via ICAROS you get an in-depth and complete picture of your physical condition. This gives you insight into potential risk areas, but also how to make targeted adjustments and improvements.
