Sweat and Hydration Analysis
When you exercise, you lose not only fluid but also important electrolytes such as sodium. Through a sweat and hydration analysis, P2A objectively assesses how much you sweat, how much sodium you lose, and how you can better maintain your fluid and salt balance during training, competition, or recovery.
Hydration analysis
A hydration analysis allows us to determine whether an athlete is sufficiently hydrated before and/or after a workout or competition. This gives us insight into their fluid balance and enables us to better assess whether dehydration might be a factor in decreased performance, cramps, muscle fatigue, or exhaustion.
This test is very practical for use with individual athletes, teams, and clubs. By taking measurements at set intervals, you can make adjustments more quickly and help athletes become more aware of their hydration habits.
Of interest to: teams, athletes experiencing cramps or fatigue, athletes who frequently engage in intense training, or clubs that want to systematically monitor hydration.
Sweat Analysis
During a sweat test, you exercise for about an hour while wearing a special patch. The patch collects sweat, allowing us to analyze how much sodium you lose during exercise.
Based on these results, you’ll receive more targeted advice on electrolytes, salt replacement, and fluid intake during training or competition. This is particularly useful for athletes who engage in long or intense workouts, often exercise in hot conditions, or want to optimize their nutrition and hydration strategies.
