Ms. Hedda van Braeckel
Master’s in Rehabilitation Sciences and Sports Physical Therapy
Hedda is a sports physical therapist and performance clinician, and she serves on the P2A Medical Board.
Drawing on her expertise, she helps athletes prevent injuries and manage sports-related injuries. Her goal is to identify weaknesses based on objective measurement data and use this information to implement preventive measures. She works not only on prevention but also to help athletes return to their sport stronger, more efficient, and with greater confidence after recovering from an injury.
Expertise
Hedda earned her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and (Sports) Physical Therapy from KU Leuven with high honors. She then spent a year specializing in hip-related injuries in a sports context, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kristoff Corten. At Perform2Achieve, she combines a thorough clinical analysis with a personalized and evidence-based approach. She works with both recreational and competitive athletes, with a particular focus on injury prevention, sustainable recovery, and performance optimization.
